1. Replace your windshield wipers and refill washer fluid.
The summer sun could have caused your windshield wipers to crack, which means they might not be as effective for the remainder of the year. Most auto parts stores will confirm the best wiper size, and we also recommend using a washer fluid that has bug removal and prevents water beading.
2. Check your lights and signals.
As the days get shorter, you will most likely find yourself driving more at nighttime. Take some time to turn on your headlights, the high beams, and brake lights to ensure they are all working.
3. Keep your car looking great.
Giving your car a good wash will help it feel fresh again. It will also help remove things like sap, bird droppings, or magnesium chloride from the paint. If you have time to wax the vehicle, it will help the exterior of your car stay in prime condition as long as possible.
