We can only share and give to others that which we already have within us. Be it patience, advise, consideration, nurturing, acknowledgment, love, etc. It's important for us to learn to be kind and thoughtful with ourselves. Making time for activities that calm and nurture us, body and soul. Self Love can be as diversified as we are. If you are not loving on yourself as much as you need, this is a reminder to make yourself take time out to love on YOU more.
I take great pleasure in baking. Its relaxing and makes space for sorting out thoughts, emotions, situations, etc. I thoroughly enjoy being precise with measuring ingredients, stirring and mixing in delicious textures and enjoying the aromas. Watching it all come together to culminate in the satisfaction of knowing I made that moist delicious baked delight and sharing it with loved ones. Baking helps relief stress, and fills my heart with joy.
