Memorial Day weekend -- and the unofficial start of summer -- is just ahead!

So here’s a friendly reminder that we will be closed on Monday, May 26th. We will also be operating with a reduced staff on Friday, May 23rd. Our office will be CLOSED TO WALK-INS that day, so please call if you need assistance. If you are a holding tank customer, we appreciate your cooperation in planning ahead for the long weekend and scheduling as soon as possible before Friday. Thank you for your patience as we attempt to accommodate all our customers’ needs in a timely way.

Spring (and our busy season) is right around the corner! Did you know that pumping is not always recommended for septic systems in the wintertime? This was particularly true this year, due to the lack of snow-cover insulating the ground and the frigid temperatures we had in January and February. Unfortunately, a lot of septic systems experienced issues with freezing. Of course, in those situations, we will come out and do what we can to get things working for you. Our main concern this time of year is that you can continue using the plumbing in your home! That’s probably your main concern too!

If you are not having any issues with how your system is working but know you should pump this year, we recommend waiting until the weather consistently warms up and the frost comes out of the ground. So give us a call when spring arrives!

And don’t forget about Daylight Saving Time starting this weekend!

Just a friendly reminder that we will be closed on November 28th. If you are expecting extra company that week and suspect your septic system should be pumped beforehand, please contact us now to request service before our schedule fills up.

The weather may still be saying “it’s summer,” but the calendar is telling us the season is drawing to a close! So just a friendly reminder that we will be closed on Labor Day.
