SafeYard Mosquito Control is looking for a part time to full time mosquito control field technicians for the 2026 spraying season. Job duties include applying people- and pet-safe products to lawns and other areas outdoor pests spend their time.
Equipment used includes backpack sprayers, hand held sprayers and UTV/ATV mounted equipment. Hours are flexible ranging 30-40 hours per week depending on your schedule and availability. Competitive wages starting at $20 per hour depending on experience.

✅ Valid US drivers license
✅ Current auto insurance
✅ The ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs repetitively
✅ The ability to work outdoors

Fall is amazing in Fargo-Moorhead. We can’t wait to bring the family out to Amazingacresnd to get lost in the sunflower maze!

It’s done, our adorable Amazing Acres horse barn! This came to be because of my dislike for porta potties. I told my husband if we open a pumpkin patch and sunflower maze we HAVE to have real bathrooms, my non negotiable. So we have two real bathrooms inside the barn, each with a regular and mini toilet. As a parent with young kids, I’m sure you’ll appreciate this!

The barn also has air, heat, a small seating area and a concession stand! We have a commercial kitchen and we are ready to make you yummy food! We’ll be adding more items over the next couple weeks!

We are open this Friday and Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 11-6. We’ll be open every Friday and Saturday 10-6 and Sundays 11-6 through October 19. We’ll also be open Thursday, October 16, 10-6.

How bad are mosquitoes in Fargo/Moorhead and the rest of the metro? About as bad as it gets. The majority of Cass County Vector Control’s traps (the ones they use to monitor nuisance mosquito populations) have reached all time highs for counts of female mosquitoes (aka the ones that bite us).

We have watched Chris and the team transform a tired old school house into a gorgeous building full of life over the past few years - it's been a pleasure to help keep them and their guests more comfortable in the summer. We're looking forward to seeing them on TV soon.
