Steam has been proven to deliver instant results to Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle (CRB) breeding sites. All life cycles of the beetle die when exposed to lethal temperatures for long periods of time. We attack the beetles at the source, slowly taking pressure off the trees by eliminating future generations from reaching adulthood. 100% clean. ZERO chemicals. Mahalo 🤙🏾

Steaming Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle (CRB) breeding sites is what we do! To effectively put a dent in the numbers we have to go to where their numbers are, the breeding sites. Mulch, compost, soil, yard debris, rotting logs and stumps are where we should be focusing our attention. We all can get involved and understand what they like, and eliminate them before they reach adulthood and attack our trees and food sources! Our dog team can help detect infestations on your property, and we come through with the steam to eliminate them! 😤 Not sure if you have a breeding site on your property? Give us a call and we can help you out! If you know of anyone who may need assistance with this issue let us know as well! 100% clean. ZERO chemicals. Mahalo! 🤙🏾

Here’s a reminder to check your old rotting coconuts! We found this larva today lodged inside one and watched as it tried to dig back inside. Stay alert and eliminate every single one you find! Mahalo! 🤙🏾

🚨 PLEASE CHECK COCONUT LOGS🚨⁣

The Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle (CRB) love rotting tree logs and stumps—especially COCONUT Tree logs! We have found an insane number of beetles in them, and they lay their eggs in them and the rest is history. ⁣

Everyone thinks that mulch piles, compost, green waste, soil, etc. are the only places where CRB breed, and that is false. Do not neglect old logs on your property. Crack them open and kill them before they kill the trees you actually care about! ⁣

Have you seen them in logs before? Where else have you seen them breed? Comment below! ⁣👇🏾

Back at you with more results from our steaming of guinea grass! The steam is highly effective against the guinea grass, and the hold time at high temperature is key to pe*****te into the ground to attack the root system. 100% clean. ZERO chemicals.

Today we celebrated Earth Day in Lihue at Kaua’i War Memorial Convention Hall! There were about 30 vendors on site and it was great bringing the community together! We were with and put together a terrarium to show the community the Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle (CRB), in all of its life cycles. had a booth giving out very important information on CRB and other invasive species! CRB Response gave away free netting as well as traps! We are all in this together and we must do our part to keep Hawai’i BEAUTIFUL! Grateful to be of service to our community! Mahalo!

🚨 OUR FOOD SOURCES ARE UNDER ATTACK 🚨
The Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle (CRB), don’t only attack Coconut Palms. We are now seeing signs of them attacking 🍌BANANAS 🍌 too. They are boring holes in the bananas just like they do Coconut Palms. Near the roots we found beetles, larvae and pupae as well. This is a really serious problem and their breeding sites need to be treated IMMEDIATELY! If you have a potential breeding site, please reach out to us so we can eliminate it for you and protect our trees and our food. We are here to help! Grateful to be of service to our community! Mahalo! 🤙🏾

👀Have you ever seen a Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle hatch from its pupa stage?!👀 While shaping the pile for steaming, we found this pupa in our shovel and realized he was making a run for it! The body was very shiny, almost like patent leather and the wings were fully developed as well. By end of day this would’ve been a fully hatched beetle and on its way to terrorizing our trees. NOT TODAY 😤. Let’s protect our trees, and food — TOGETHER!

Today we steamed a chipped mulch pile in Wailua. This pile was 6 cubic yards, and was LOADED with every life cycle of CRB! We found eggs, tons of larvae, pupae and a bunch of beetles. We also found CRB damage on Banana palms and beetles near them. After steaming we dug out 1️⃣9️⃣1️⃣ Larvae, 2️⃣9️⃣ Beetles, & 6️⃣ Pupae. We didn’t even dig through the entire pile! Please dig through your mulch and compost and if you find CRB, call us! We are grateful to be of service to our community!

Breeding sites could be in your backyard and you don’t even know it! Even really small piles can have more than 100 larvae in it. We encourage everyone to do their part and check their piles ASAP! Grab a shovel and start digging! If you find that you do have a breeding site and would like CRB eliminated so that you can use it again, call us! We are grateful to be of service to the community! Mahalo!
