Policy: Compensation & Benefits
Starting wages for this position is $17.50 per hour depending on experience, reliability, and availability.
In addition to hourly wages, eligible employees may receive:
paid medical benefits,
paid travel time,
regular overtime opportunities,
consistent full-time scheduling, and
paid company transportation to many job locations.
Because the Company services multiple areas across Hawai‘i Island, employees frequently receive additional compensated hours associated with travel and scheduling requirements.
As a result, employees’ total weekly compensation and benefits package may significantly exceed base hourly wages alone.
Employees who demonstrate reliability, safety, productivity, and positive customer service may become eligible for wage increases, additional responsibilities, and advancement opportunities.
All compensation and overtime will be paid in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
Policy: Reporting & Departure Time
Employees using company transportation must arrive at the designated meeting location early enough to:
place their personal belongings in the vehicle,
prepare themselves for the workday, and
be seated and ready for departure at the scheduled departure time.
Employees are not required to perform work duties before the scheduled departure time unless specifically directed by management.
The company vehicle will depart promptly at the designated departure time. Paid work time begins when the company vehicle departs the designated meeting location.
Time spent arriving, organizing personal items, waiting for departure, socializing, or otherwise preparing for the day before departure is not considered compensate work time unless the employee has been specifically assigned work duties by management.
Employees who are not ready at departure time may be required to arrange their own transportation to the job site and may be subject to disciplinary action for repeated tardiness.
