To our valued clients, customers, partners and vendors:
We are informing you that we are aware of the growing concerns surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), and we are taking all necessary precautions to keep everyone as safe as possible.
Our office team are working remotely from their respective homes, and our only two Field Technicians are focusing primarily on exterior repair jobs for the next few weeks. If an interior inspection for your home or business is required, our technicians are reducing contact with any and all surfaces, wearing gloves and ventilation masks (which we already use for sweeps), and foot booties. Most of the inspection time is done outside of the home and we are able to present reports and estimates via email and discuss all questions during this time over the phone or FaceTime (depending on phone apps available).
Chimney inspectors and sweeps are some of the very few tradesmen needed on the road during these trying times due to our business and cooler temperatures still. Our customers are needing to use their fireplace and it is our job and responsibility to keep your family and home safe with a functional and high-performing chimney/fireplace.
Rest assure, our team is thoroughly disinfecting their hands and tools before and after entering each job site. We are also carefully monitoring the latest developments surrounding COVID-19, and are prepared to take quick action in the event of a more localized outbreak. If we determine that on-site work is hazardous to our employees’ and customers’ health, we will pause work until the threat has lifted and reschedule as soon as possible.
We ask, however, that our customers do not allow concerns about the coronavirus to compromise your safety in other ways. If you notice smoke or smells coming from your fireplace; water leaks in your firebox; your fireplace it not lighting; or any other cause for concern, it is important to have those issues resolved by a professional, certified chimney technician. Do not attempt chimney repairs or installations yourself. If you have any concerns about your fireplace or chimney, please call us prior to taking any action (or inaction) and we may be able to do a video FaceTime call to help troubleshoot.
Below are some additional safety tips which you can use to help protect yourself, your family, and members of our community who may have compromised immune systems.
**Disease Prevention Safety Tips**
• Refrain from shaking hands with, hugging, or touching others
• Refrain from attending large public gatherings
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
• Clean and disinfect frequently-touched objects, such as phones
• Wash your hands often with soap and hot water for at least 20 seconds
• If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol

Please be aware that you and your families are our top priority, and we are doing everything possible to keep us all safe.
Thank you,
