🚨 Illegal Dumping is NOT OKAY 🚨

Today, our team and volunteers took action and removed over 100 tires from an illegal dump site right here in Hobbs.

This isn’t just an eyesore, it’s unfair to the families who live nearby and harmful to our environment.

👏 A HUGE thank you to all of our dedicated staff and incredible volunteers who showed up, put in the hard work, and helped make a difference today. We appreciate City Manager Gomez, Commissioner Calderon, Parks and open Spaces Director Bryan Wagner, his staff, Community Services Superintendent Silva and her staff for all spending some of their Saturday morning beautifying Hobbs! Your commitment to keeping Hobbs clean does not go unnoticed! We also want to thank NM Junk Masters, LLC, J & J Rentals, and GWC Construction for generously providing roll offs as an in-kind donation! Keep Hobbs Beautiful had support on all four Spring Cleanups from the NM Clean and Beautiful Grant, Chevron, Rig Outfitters & Homestore and Jet Specialty and again NM Junk Masters with cleanup supplies,donuts, bottled water, and volunteer incentives - you guys rock! We also would like to thank the amazing Hobbs residents who brought cases of waters and trays of breakfast burritos -you kept us going! 💪

We all play a part in keeping Hobbs clean and safe. Please do your part by disposing of waste properly.
