Position: Laundromat Attendant
Wage: $13.73-$14.00
Schedule: 12 to 20 hours per week. Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 6pm-10pm
Must be willing and able to work required hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must have a valid driver’s license. Relative work experience preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Laundry Attendants perform multiple tasks ranging from cleaning, washing, drying and folding laundry and operating commercial laundry. Attendants are expected to show up on time for their shift and have excellent customer service skills.

Other responsibilities may include:
-Sorting linens, towels, clothing and other laundry items by color, size and material
-Unloading laundry from commercial washers and dryers
-Stocking laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags and fabric softener
-Creating laundry tags with identifiable customer information
-Folding laundry items for pickup or delivery to customers and hospitality guests
-Washing items with commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocols
-Cleaning and maintaining laundry room area and bathrooms, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, vacuuming rugs, cleaning sinks and toilets, restocking toiletries, taking out trash and wiping down tables and chairs
-Cleaning commercial washers and dryers including but not limited to, vacuuming out dryer vents, sanitizing and wiping down equipment.
-Cash register balancing, making proper change for customers
-Sweeping, shoveling sidewalks and salting as needed during inclement weather

Happy New Year to all our customers and friends. As some of you know, new ownership took place two years ago and we have been working diligently on assessment of the facility and equipment. We hear a lot of frustrated customers discussing how the machines are out of service or have issues. Please understand this is not our staff's fault. Additionally, we hear you! We knew the equipment and facility was outdated and needed a significant investment. That being said, what you may not know is the significant investments that have already taken place. $15,000 environmental assessment and certification to make sure the property is safe of contaminants, $5,000 sewer pipe replacement, $4000 in hvac and boiler repairs to ensure customers have hot water, ac and heat. That doesn't even include the tens of thousands in facility upgrades and equipment repairs. Some of our washers and dryers are nearly 30 years old and parts are difficult to find.

We are asking for your patience. New equipment takes a significant investment, some washers cost over 20k to replace brand new. We have diagnosed the machines and determined what is worth saving and what isn't, we have processed bids with 3 different equipment vendors and are finalizing a decision. The importance of finding the right equipment, warranties, energy efficiency, for the right price is crucial to offering our customers the best washers and dryers at the most affordable price. We promise new equipment will be coming soon in 2026.
