You can make up to 6 figures as a content creator, solo cleaner or anything you want to DO! 🤩
Do you have or thought about starting a cleaning biz!?
After so much personal experience I saw a post about solo cleaning vs. big business and made a comment.
After over 8,000 likes and replies I’ve had several messages asking me to give more insight and info on what to do differently from someone who does business coaching. It’s impossible to respond directly to everyone.
So here ya go…
No hype, no shortcuts.
This is the foundation that can be tweaked and applied to any entrepreneur not just cleaning services.
Success won’t happen overnight. It comes with hard work, self discipline, drive, strategy, boundaries, and consistency.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
1-Choose a niche and stay in it!
I don’t just clean for anywhere or anyone.
I focus on specific areas and types of clients.
This cuts drive time, saves my body, and keeps my days predictable.
Running all over town is just burnout disguised as busy hustle.
2- Block and logistically organize your schedule intentionally!
Clients should be grouped by location, time and day.
Don’t bounce around all over town!
Less driving >more energy = more income.
A messy unorganized calendar will quietly drain you and your profits.
3- Don’t be afraid to QUOTE YOUR WORTH!
We must be able to raise prices and stop apologizing for it!
We are service providers.
Experience, Reliability, Trust, Integrity costs more. Especially when gas, time and products costs more.
The right clients will not argue about pricing. They value consistency, great service and trust. The right clients always TIP AND APPRECIATE OUR SERVICE.
4- Protect our calendar means protecting our time!
I alway show up!
I require consistency and flexibility. If a client is constantly canceling, rescheduling, or disrupting my flow, they’re costing me money and peace.
Peace is profitable.Time is money. Our bills need paid too. Don’t have space for the right clients if you’re holding on to the wrong ones.
5- Stop trying to scale like everyone else!
I’ve done teams. I’ve had 10 employees.
It wasn’t my lane.
Solo works because I know my work and so do my clients. Having teams takes trust, integrity and a loyalty thats RARE and HARD TO FIND. This service is based on trust and integrity to work top notch at all times, no matter what, where or how we feel! Plus money makes people funny so I’ve learned the hard way BIGGER isn’t always better. Aligned is better.
6- This must be treated as a business, not a side gig! So clear policies. Clear communication. Professional boundaries. Clients respect you when you respect them and yourself.
7- Focus on sustainability, not grinding into the ground
Build it to support your life, not consume it. Longevity will beat burnout every time.
The cleaning path isn’t for everyone. Teams work for some. Solo works for others. Be willing to try different things, grow where necessary and change it up if needed! Success is what you define it to BE!
The key is building a system that fits you, not what everyone else says success should look like.
If you’re overwhelmed, underpaid, or burned out, it’s not because you’re bad at something. It’s usually because the structure needs adjusting or changes need to be made.
Work smarter. Not harder. Protect your time. Protect your peace. Money isn’t everything. Success is what you define it. There’s more good than bad in the world. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Life is priceless. Time is valuable. ✨🫶🏼✨
