From tadpole habitat back to a pool!

This pool had been sitting stagnant for an extended period, creating the perfect environment for algae, debris, and even tadpoles to move in.

We completed a full drain and clean, removed the built-up debris, serviced the filtration system, and balanced the water to bring it back to a safe, swimmable condition.

While the plaster is older, we’re proud of the transformation. Older plaster can retain permanent staining and wear, but clean, healthy water is always our priority.

☀️ The Texas heat doesn’t just affect people—it can take a toll on your pool equipment, too.

This filter had developed a large crack after years of exposure to the elements. A repair had been attempted, but because pool filters operate under pressure, temporary patches usually aren’t a safe long-term solution.

Here are a few ways to help protect your equipment:
✅ Keep landscaping trimmed for good airflow.
🌳 If possible, provide shade from the hot afternoon sun.
🔍 Check periodically for small leaks or cracks before they become bigger repairs.

If you notice water around your equipment pad, unusual pressure readings, or visible cracks, don’t wait. Catching problems early can help prevent more costly repairs down the road.

If you’re spending time outside this week, don’t underestimate the Texas heat.

Heat exhaustion can sneak up quickly. Watch for:

💧 Heavy sweating
😵 Dizziness or lightheadedness
💪 Muscle cramps
🤢 Nausea or vomiting
❤️ Rapid pulse

🚨 If someone becomes confused, stops sweating, has a body temperature over 103°F, or loses consciousness, call 911 immediately.

Whether you’re working outside or simply enjoying the sunshine, remember to drink plenty of water and take breaks in the shade.

Still curious how the drain & clean turned out? 👀
You’ll have to wait just a little longer…

Sometimes pool service takes us places you wouldn’t expect… literally. 😄

This project included much more than the pool. We cleaned out severely clogged gutters, cleared years of debris from around the equipment pad, replaced the main pump motor, installed new DE filter grids, removed the old salt system, and got everything cleaned up and running properly.

It’s not always glamorous, but taking care of the details helps protect both the pool and the equipment—and helps keep everything running the way it should.

One step at a time, this backyard is coming back to life.

Summers are busy around here! Justin spends his days keeping pools clean and running smoothly, then heads straight to church to serve during Vacation Bible School.

🐸 Ever wonder what happens when a pool sits untouched for too long?

This one had become more of a wildlife habitat than a swimming pool.

✅ Years of leaves.
✅ Tadpoles.
✅ Thick layers of decomposing debris and sludge.

Before we can even think about filling this pool with fresh water again, all of this has to come out by hand. It’s messy, it’s heavy, and it’s definitely not the glamorous side of pool service—but it’s part of bringing a pool back to life.

Sometimes “pool cleaning” means skimming a few leaves.
