The girls 🥎 Towns County High School Softball Team🥎 is participating in "Midnight Madness" tonight. They will grill out, play games, practice at Midnight, and sleep at the field house at school.

I LOVE a good yard sale, thrift store, or clearance rack!
This armoire is one of my all-time-favorite thift store purchases. I only paid $35.00 (originally $70, but it was 1/2 price day!) It's heavy and it was a pain to get it to the 2nd story loft, but it fits the large open room perfectly! It's also being used as a functional piece (a closet) while we have limited space. (Oh, and those vintage snow shoes...thrift store as well)

In other news....these PINK PINEAPPLES 🍍 😱😱😱. JUST BUY ONE. Hiawassee Fruitstand
they are soooo good! And my heart serving dish was a $3.09 purchase from Goodwill 💕

The porch is an extention of our home and many times the first and only thing people see. I move furniture around often and change out a few decorations for each holiday/season.

Our official last day in our old home was June 5th, so upon my return to GA.(after an 8 day trip out West), I was in a new home (our vacation rental). Evidently, my family of 6 (5 kids+husband) wore EVERY.SINGLE piece of clothing they owned while I was away, so there was a mountain of laundry and boxes.
We will be living in our cabin for the next 6 months (+/-) while we build on the lake lot directly below us.
I've spent the last week unpacking our 6 month necessities and organizing everything into a significantly smaller spaces. We were able to get our building constructed on the lot below us which is where we are storing all of our stuff while living here!
Here's a sneak peek at our cabin loft that will serve as our master bedroom/home office while we build....
