Cleaning Tip of the Week ✔

For those of you with boys this bathroom tip is from personal experience!

The only way to completely clean your toilet is to grab a flat head screwdriver and remove the lid. Then using Disinfecting Wipes and wearing latex gloves, get into all the crevices. If your lid and seat have stains use baking soda and lemon juice to make a paste (just like the oven paste from my previous post) and apply generously to the stained area. I do this in the bathtub because its easier! Next put white vinegar into a spray bottle and spray your paste. It will fizz! Let it sit for 5-10 minutes then rinse with hot water. For stubborn spots let sit 10-20 minutes.
** If your lid is plastic and this does not work your only choice is to buy a new one. Before putting it on wipe it down with rainx wiper fluid and let dry completely.
**This is a handy tip for any clean toilet seat and will make cleaning much easier in the long run!**

Laundry Tip✔

For oil stains that are still there after a wash, this is an easy fix. All you have to do is take a small piece of cardboard and place it on the other side of the the clothing (where the oil stain is), and spray WD-40. Then put some baking soda over the wet area (more than you think you’ll need) and rub it in with a toothbrush (old or new) for a couple minutes. Dust off the baking soda into a sink and repeat once more. Then dust it off again, put some Dawn dish soap on it and throw it in the wash. Done.

Tip of the Week ✔

Cleaning your oven glass! Want a clear view of your turkey and sides this year? Mix ¾ cup of baking soda with "a little" bit of water until it becomes a paste. Spread the mixture across the oven glass pane and let it sit. Leave the door open to avoid dripping. After about 20 minutes, wipe the mixture off with a hot damp towel. No harsh smell and no chemicals! If you still have stubborn spots mix up some more "oven paste" and apply directly to those spots. Let sit for another 20 minutes and wipe off with hot damp towel ✔
