Help keep our Neighborhoods safe. Know where you park!!!

Whether you're visiting friends, attending a neighborhood gathering, or parking overnight, where you leave your vehicle matters.

Parking illegally can:
Reduce visibility at intersections.
Block access to driveways and mailboxes.
Make it harder for emergency vehicles to respond.
Create hazards for pedestrians.

We understand that Henderson has plenty of narrow street, and drivers may feel that pulling partially onto the sidewalk is the safer or more considerate option. However, vehicles cannot block the sidewalk when parked per city ordinance Sec. 22-40 and KRS 189.450. If a person in a wheelchair or with a stroller cannot walk on the sidewalk because of your car then you are in violation.

A little extra attention goes a long way in keeping Henderson's neighborhoods safe, accessible, and welcoming for everyone.

It’s honestly frustrating trying to maintain a business when there are people who have absolutely no respect for someone else’s property.

I’ll never understand the mindset of stealing, damaging, or defacing something that belongs to someone else.

Behind every business is someone who works hard, pays bills, makes investments, and tries to provide something useful for the community. It’s discouraging to constantly have to clean up after people who simply don’t care.

We are asking for the community to say something if you see something! We pray it’s not YOUR HOUSE or YOUR CAR next!
