This is why it’s important to know where your septic system is located before you build that additional bedroom or deck to your house. I was able to pump the solid side but the leach field side had a stem wall on top of it. The tank and sewer piper were also full of roots.

If you are looking to buy a home that is on a septic system, I highly recommend you get it pumped and inspected by a professional prior to the purchase. This step could save you thousands and a lot of headaches. This owners needs a whole new system. My goal is that someone can learn from this owners mistake.

This clog was due to Fats, oils and grease being put down the drain. It’s not good for your pipes or your septic system. Some learn the hard way but hopefully someone watching can learn from this.
