Was nice to get away with the family on vacation for a few days but next week will be here before you know it, time to get back at it and I'm gonna be swamped!! Was very thankful and blessed to receive multiple call which turned into multiple jobs!!😁

Wanted to share something my nephew sent to me a few days ago while he was doing some electrical work in an apartment complex. He said this lady was very lucky to say the least when he told me she was home when this happened and the fire department was just around the corner.

Don't let this be your situation, it just needs inspected to be corrected!

Just a few jobs recently that prove it would be a good practice to consider having your dryer exhaust serviced, at least inspected.

I've said this many times and I can only say it again, my customers have the assumption that everything should be OK.... or these things start to take place, multiple drying cycles, D-80/D-90 codes show up, your dryer is hot to the touch, no airflow is coming out the exterior vent cover.... The list goes on! or someone has recommended my services.

TIME TO THINK ABOUT THE WHAT IF'S?

🔥 I can't express how things like you see in this picture can go from bad to worse in a blind of an eye!

We provided our inspection and discovered the slinkyflex transition duct had a section with a hole near the exit of the dryer, which appears to have been this way for quite sometime but seeing this I knew right away we had to provide a removal of the back panel to take a look inside and just as I suspected lint/debris had entered through the make up air panel.... This is never a good thing but I provided a clean out so this customer wouldn't have a 🔥

Just another one of our inspections revealing why things were not drying!

Customer expressed, "Every time the dryer was being used we kept smelling a burnt smell and it would shut off" Looks like they gave us a call probably just in time! Also don't let those D-80 and D-90 codes go unchecked..... It could end up a lot worse! 🔥

Blessed for sure to have this guy/son working with me again this summer, sometimes Dad has a hard time fitting in some of these areas. 😂

When it comes to having any service work done on your home if it involves anything that pertains to altering your dryer ductwork its good to have that rechecked just to be on the safe side.... This company removed my roof jack that I installed 3 years ago to install a new roof but somehow didn't manage to get it lined back up??? Not real sure who dropped the ball here but.... it was dropped 😕

Sometimes you just got to work with what you got!

When we encountered this job that's exactly what we did. What really grinds my gears is when others could do better but choose not to, I would have really liked a better outcome but when they drill a hole through the floor into the floor joist and with a 110 wire in the way they just shoved the slinkyflex through there an hoped for the best 😕 then who ever shot in spray foam insulation they just decided to let it fill half the duct, not to mention there was no exterior vent cover installed which will let whatever in and moisture as well... Its crazy out there folks!

I managed to recore a new hole to bypasss everything that was in the way but almost used a whole can of great stuff to seal this area off.

After all said and done another happy customer and awesome final readings as well, that's what we like to see!

Just a little reminder..... even if you have the code approved galvanized ductwork it still needs cleaning periodically

The proof is in the picture and its only been a few years, it sure helps your dryer's performance not to mention helps decrease those higher utility bills

* Just for reference I didn't attach my vacuum except to clean it all up, I wanted to show the customer how much had accumulated just over a short period of time

My 1st, 2 days back at work went well! I'm glad to have my son/helper this week to keep a watch over me!

I wanted to thank all my customers for your patience and understanding having to reschedule my services, the heart conditions I encountered were quite scary to say the least (especially at 55) but the cardiac cath was very successful, 2 stents were placed and I'm feeling much better now I had no idea my heart was only pumping at 50%.😕 I thank God from the bottom of my heart (literally) for having blessed me to continue on!

Thanks to Northeast Georgia Medical Center and the entire staff who were involved as well, exceptional experience all around!!🙂
