This 2006 Ford GT came through Bulletproof Auto Spa ahead of a sale, and the scope of work reflected exactly what serious buyers in this segment look for.

The process started with a full machine polish to correct the paint before anything else went on top. XPEL Ultimate Plus PPF then covered the entire front end over that corrected surface. Concours detailing ran through every interior and exterior surface as part of the same package. The goal wasn't just one service in isolation; it was a car brought to the standard that a knowledgeable buyer expects to see.

Ford built the GT to celebrate its centennial and its Le Mans legacy. Fewer than 4,100 cars came off the line across 2005 and 2006. Clean, well-maintained examples have been appreciating steadily, and the condition of the paint and protection in place is part of what drives that.

Jetstream Blue on a 911 Carrera 4S, ceramic coated, with powder coated calipers and fully restored trim.

Getting there required machine polishing the entire vehicle before any wrap film was applied, a full color change in Oracal Gloss Jetstream Blue vinyl, professional-grade ceramic coating over the finished wrap, brake caliper powder coat refinishing on the OEM calipers, and a plastic trim rehydration treatment throughout.

The order of those steps is the detail most people overlook. Wrapping over uncorrected paint means the wrap reveals the flaws rather than hiding them. Coating over degraded trim locks in the deterioration. Both are mistakes that are visible in the final result and difficult to fix without starting over. Getting the surface preparation right at each stage is what makes the finish hold the way it should.

The calipers were pulled and powder coated to sit within the overall look of the build rather than drawing attention for the wrong reasons.

Stainless steel and a colored film are a specific combination that most installers have not worked with enough to get right.

This Cybertruck left our shop covered in FlexiShield Blackberry Colored PPF across the entire vehicle, with custom branded graphics integrated into the finish. FlexiShield is not a vinyl wrap. It is an 8-mil thermoplastic polyurethane film that changes the color and protects the surface simultaneously, with self-healing properties that keep the finish intact through daily use.

The Cybertruck's geometry and stainless exterior create fitment challenges that are genuinely different from any other vehicle in this segment. The broad, flat panels show every inconsistency in direct light. Getting the film to sit flush across those surfaces, hold through the sharp body lines, and read cleanly in all conditions is the actual work. The color is the result.

Custom branded graphics were applied as part of the overall job.

Matte-satin, protected, and built for daily use at performance levels. This 2026 Tesla Model Y Performance left our shop with XPEL Stealth PPF on every panel, XPEL Prime XR Plus nano-ceramic window tint, and Unplugged Performance 19-inch Forged UP-RW wheels.

Stealth PPF shifts the finish from gloss to a matte-satin look while keeping the paint underneath fully protected. On a vehicle you're driving daily at performance levels, that protection layer is doing real work against road debris, UV, and surface abrasion.

The Prime XR Plus tint is worth calling out specifically. It blocks heat at the infrared spectrum rather than through traditional dye or carbon methods. For an EV owner, that matters because the climate system draws directly from the battery. Keeping the cabin cooler through the film means the car is managing less thermal load on its own.

Unplugged Performance builds their wheels around Tesla's specific torque and weight characteristics, which makes a difference in how the fitment behaves at the Performance trim's output levels.

Good enough isn't a standard we recognize. Neither should your Ferrari.

This 458 Speciale arrived with old, poorly-applied PPF across the full vehicle. Before anything else, that came off. From there, full vehicle XPEL Ultimate Plus PPF was installed with bulk custom-cut coverage, including complete protection on the factory carbon fiber door cards and kick guards. XPEL Prime XR Plus nano-ceramic window tint was applied glass to glass, followed by professional-grade ceramic coating on the full exterior. The wheel barrels and brake calipers received their own dedicated ceramic coating treatment.

Beyond protection, the build was taken further, a factory OEM carbon fiber rear diffuser imported directly from Italy, a full carbon engine bay trim upgrade, a BMC air filter, and Capristo carbon fiber front air intake flaps.

Start to finish, this is what it looks like when a car like this gets the treatment it was always supposed to have.

XPEL Stealth exists for builds like this.

This Rivian R1S received full vehicle coverage in XPEL Stealth PPF — self-healing protection with a matte finish that works with the R1S's factory lines rather than over them. A blackout emblem replacement completed the look.

Every panel protected. Nothing that didn't belong left on it.

A Cybertruck draws eyes wherever it goes. This one now has protection engineered to the same standard as the vehicle itself.

Every window received XPEL Prime XR
Plus nano-ceramic tint, then the entire body was covered in Legend HTM-40 PPF at 40% VLT with XPEL Stealth laid on top. That second layer converts the finish from gloss to satin pulling the shine down to something quieter, while the protection underneath stays fully intact.

When the investment is this size, the surface treatment should be too.

What's the first thing you'd protect on a build like this?

05/05/2026

There's a version of the A90 that just looks right. This is it.

Sitting on Brixton TR20s with the air cups dropped, dark gray catching every angle, carbon in all the right places. The kind of Supra that doesn't need to move to get your attention.

What color would you take yours in?

Some cars demand a level of attention that matches what went into building them.

This Porsche 992 911 Turbo S received full vehicle XPEL Stealth PPF across every exterior panel, maintaining the factory satin character while standing between the paint and everything the road throws at it. XPEL Prime XR Plus nano-ceramic window tint and XPEL windshield protection film bring the same commitment to every surface you see through.

The Do88 intercooler pipe kit, BMC F1 replacement air filters, and Rennline radiator protection grill screens speak to an owner who thinks past the surface. The BlackVue dashcam and factory clear side marker upgrade carry that same logic through to every last detail.

Nothing overlooked. What would you prioritize on a build like this?

Swipe to see where this Ferrari 488 Spider ended up.

A car this precise deserves protection built to the same standard. This one came to us for the full treatment, and that is exactly what it got.

XPEL Stealth PPF wraps the entire exterior, giving it a matte finish that holds up to real-world use without sacrificing the lines Maranello spent years drawing. Nano-ceramic window tint runs across every pane of glass. The exterior carries a matte ceramic coating, the wheels and calipers have their own ceramic layer, and the engine bay was detailed and coated down to the last panel.

On the carbon fiber side, factory trim was replaced across the front spoiler, lip splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, rear engine louvers, and the full bay trim. All sourced through Bulletproof Automotive.

Under the skin: CSF High-Performance Intercooler, Akrapovic Slip-On Titanium exhaust with carbon fiber tail pipes and sound kit, updated intake piping finished in matte black powder coat, VF Engineering Flash, and a BMC High Performance Air Filter sitting behind custom AL-13 forged wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Cup 2 R tires.

Twenty-five years of this work. Same location. Same standard.
