People always ask, is the tire dressing doing this? One i dint use dressings, i use coatings and no it has zero to do with any tire coating or dressing. Seems the more internet people have, the less they use it to get real information lol.
I did the reach for you all, your welcome hahaha 😆 so stop blaming the detailers for the browning on the tiers
antiozonant (most commonly a compound called 6PPD) mixed with sacrificial waxes.
As the tire flexes, heats up, and rolls down the road, centrifugal force and heat push those chemicals to the outer surface of the rubber. It is designed to bleed out continuously to protect the rubber from UV rays, oxygen, and ozone degradation so the tire doesn't dry rot and crack.
When that antiozonant hits the surface and oxidizes in the open air, it turns into that ugly brown residue known as blooming. It's annoying to clean off, but it's actually proof the rubber compound is doing its job to stay pliable.
