One thing I wish someone had told me when I first started my cleaning business…
Being fully booked doesn’t always mean you’re successful. 🧹🤍
When I first started, I thought a packed schedule meant I was doing everything right. If I was cleaning every day and had clients lined up, I must be doing great… right?
Wrong. 😂
I was exhausted, overworked, undercharging, and saying yes to way too much because I was scared that if I raised my prices, I’d lose my clients.
Looking back, I honestly don’t know how I did some of those jobs for what I charged. 😭 I was putting in deep-clean effort while charging maintenance-clean prices.
It took me a while to realize that I didn’t need to constantly find more clients.
I needed to charge fairly for my time, know the value of my work, set boundaries, and create a schedule that worked for ME.
These days, success doesn’t mean being booked every day of the week.
Success means being profitable, having happy clients, doing quality work, and still having time for my family and myself. ❤️
Because there’s a BIG difference between being busy and being profitable.
If you’re just starting your cleaning business, learn from my mistake: don’t be afraid to charge what your time, energy, supplies, and hard work are actually worth.
Your goal shouldn’t be to work yourself into the ground.
Your goal should be to build a business that supports the life you actually want. ✨
