If I were to ask, "Are you ashamed of the Gospel of Christ? Are you ashamed of being a Christian?" most, if not all, of you would likely say that you are not ashamed. However, some of you may want to reconsider your answer.

As a community of believers, we face a world that is increasingly intolerant of and discriminatory against us. This world would have us believe that loving others means agreeing with anyone about anything, at any time. Refusal to do so is not only deemed "hateful" and "wrong" but could lead to personal, professional, and even legal consequences. But remember, we are not alone in this struggle.

God warns Christians that we will be hated (John 15:18) and persecuted (Matthew 5:14). Despite these things, we must trust in God (Matthew 6:33). We must be bold (Joshua 1:9) and not deny Christ to remain popular with man (Matthew 10:33).

And so I ask, "Are you ashamed of the Gospel of Christ?" Have you denied Christ? Have you denied your faith, trying to appear "politically correct" and "woke"? Have you rejected the truth so you can be "accepted" by man, so you can "fit in"? Heed this warning - Jesus is coming. We don't know when, but he is coming (Matthew 24:36; 1 Thessalonians 5). Do not be foolish. Do not procrastinate. The time for action is now. Get right with God, even when it means getting "wrong" with man.

Brothers and Sisters, I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on your life, particularly your priorities. Are you living in a way that is obedient, pleasing, and honoring to God? This is not something you need to answer to me or anyone else, but for your own salvation, you must seek the answer for yourself. Pray to God and ask Him for guidance and revelation. If necessary, confess your sins and repent. Remember the words, "Go now and leave your life of sin" (John 8:11). Make things right with God; do not delay.

You are not alone in this journey; we are all in this together. May God bless and keep you.
