🚩 Red Flags Are Red Flags for a Reason 🚩

One thing this business has taught me is to trust my gut.

The client who immediately starts talking negatively about their last 3 cleaners...The one who wants a deep clean for maintenance pricing...The one who says, "I'm VERY picky" before you've even walked through the door...The one who expects extra services but doesn't want to pay for them...The one whose expectations don't match the scope of work they've agreed to...

I've learned that having high standards is completely okay. In fact, I appreciate clients who care about their homes. But there's a difference between high standards and unrealistic expectations.

No cleaning service can paint walls, repair damage, replace worn items, or make years of wear and tear disappear. A professional cleaning improves cleanliness—not the age or condition of a home.

Early on, I ignored red flags because I needed the work. Now I know that protecting my peace, my team, and my business is just as important as gaining a new client.

Sometimes the biggest lesson isn't how to clean a house—it's learning when to politely walk away.
