Check out my buns. 😎 I know I'm hilarious. Anyway. I miss the shop. Like so freaking much?! Miss making new friends. Having you guys taste test my new experiments. Showing each other random goofy stuff we found online or at cons.
Go past abandon buildings lile damn that could be us. Planning events in my head all the time. So I'm thinking I'm going to go back to planning events. Rent some locations and do one off events. We are still planning a return to existence next year of some sort but still working through the plan.
And I'm sorry about the blog. I will try to update it later today. And get an event page back up there. If you have any ideas for get together let me know. You know I'm always open to them.

It's official. We've given back our keys and there will be new tenants in the space. Most of the cafe is in my basement and the rest in storage. There's been a lot of grieving in the months till this. We miss it so much already. And we miss you guys. Our safe space is gone. Hopefully it's just temporary. 😢

Alright super friends. It's our last day open. Its a sad thing to be closing but we are happy with what we have created. We are still serving food today! But we are closing at 5! We also have Intro to Bending today! Our last class! There are only 3 spots left! Hope to see you today to say goodbye.

It's Black History Month and we started the month off strong with a game demo for Magusha Clash of the Commanders, an afro fantasy card game! The team from that came to demonstrate and talk to people were so friendly and excited to share the lore! AND GUESS WHAT? They are coming back on the 22nd to DO IT AGAIN!

We will be closed this weekend (8th-9th) as we will be at as their Maid Cafe! We are bringing delicious food and our usual chill friendly vibes. It is an 18+ con but most of the team is going! WE ARE SO EXCITED!

The rest of the month is going to be super fun. We have Black Jeapordy on the 16th hosted by Butler R and Maid H, Free dessert for couples who come in cosplay on the 15th and a chance to win a prize if you answer Chef Ds questions. Late Night Alternative returns on the 22nd. And Capoeira on the 23rd!

We will also have books out for you to check out that are by talented black authors that write comics novels and manga. It's a packed month! And we're already working on March. 😭😁

This weekend was a little busy! Little crazy! Started strong ended with Chef D needing a nap. The new menu is out. The food is still delicious. Change the art a little. Loving the teamwork from you guys to keep this place alive. 💜
