rat fact-- Rats have litters of 6-12 young, which are born 21-23 days after mating. They reach reproductive maturity in about 3 months. Breeding is most active in the spring and fall. The average female has 4-6 litters per year.

Mice: A single female mouse can have between 5 and 10 litters per year, with each litter averaging 6 to 8 pups. This rapid reproduction rate is why infestations can grow exponentially if not addressed promptly.

In July thru October , wasp activity increases with ground nests in landscapes. Yellow jackets are also building nests in the voids of structures ( walls and ceilings). The images are a few of the nests in some of our customers ceilings and walls. They had come through the drywall and filled the room with yellow jackets. If you see activity outside and any staining or wet spots inside near the area - you may have a nest within the wall or ceiling. Typical activity would look like an airport of wasps flying in and out of a specific spot. ** Did you know**…Mice typically reach sexual maturity at around 4-6 weeks of age, and a typical litter size ranges from 3 to 8 pups, with an average of around 5-6 pups per litter; they can have multiple litters throughout the year depending on environmental conditions. Females can have up to 15 litters a year. 😮

Customer had yellow jackets getting in the adjacent room - sealed high hats . Fireplace cut out roof void - had to pull some soffit down. Deep reach for this photo over the hanger boards . Treated and removed most of it.
