This is Lotus, she is my service dog due to a medical condition that makes it hard for me to regulate my body temperature due to the inability to properly sweat on the left side of my body and due to serious nerve damage from a tumor as a teenager.

She is with me at each and every service appointment, therefore if you are requesting that she not be present you are required to be in the house within my visual range at all times which can be up to seven or eight hours.

If you would like to see her prescription of medical necessity and other documents please let me know when communicating.

I do inform each and every customer that she is with me, but if you are requesting medical documents I have no problem sharing that information.

This is Lotus, she is a hospital prescribed service dog for my medical condition of not being able to properly regulate my body temperature and sometimes breathing issues due to nerve damage.

She is with me at all service appointments, she also has proper paperwork from not only the city of hampton, but also from the hospital and other areas of the medical community if necessary I can show them to you.

If your request that I do not bring her, please make sure that you read up on the medical conditions that I would share with you and are prepared to respond the way that she does in case something happens which means you must be present at all times during the service which sometimes takes 5 to 7 hours.

Good morning everyone, that pollen is like a thunderstorm it's everywhere.

That being said if you're having detail services done you still need to keep your windows cracked at least one inch to allow the interior of your car to fully dry or it will cause fogging of the windows or a haziness on glass surfaces because the moisture has nowhere to go.

For safety reasons GCS will not apply thick amounts of glossy tire shine or interior shine on leather or vinyl, modern vehicles were not designed to have that exaggerated shine to them and it actually can cause blind spots when driving as well as reflections. When excessive tire shine is applied to tires it can cause premature Browning which is fixable and also the extra gloss causes dirt and other debris to stick to the tires which can sling off until the paint.

If you want your vehicle to be extra shiny I would recommend going to another company because I will not change the appearance of your car to look extra shiny on the interior or tires which can impede the safety of the vehicle.

Thank you for understanding that although this is a business my customers vehicles and their safety are the most important thing to me.

Virginia weather is up and down, the pollen is going to stick around for a while.

That being said don't bring your car through a touch car Wash.

They don't clean those machines every time a car goes through therefore it's literally rubbing whatever came off the car in front of you onto your paint which scratches and swirl marks on the paint.

Convenience does not pay, it usually causes damage.

If you have extreme swirl marks on your vehicle that is not included even in the premium package for detailing, that is paint correction.

Although GCS does correct minor scratches we will not do an entire vehicle unless the customer lets us know in advance and we can see the vehicle in person and the vehicle would have to be inside a garage or shop in a cooled or heated environment.

There is an extra cost for removing swirl marks and scratches, that is a customer's choice to bring their car through those car washes and not considered normal environmental damage that is taken care of with our detail packages.

So please remember when you decide that it's quicker and more convenient to go through a touch car Wash that you are actually damaging your vehicle and the name of convenience.

Good morning and good day

As we know spring has sprung and the pollen has begun.

Anyone who's requesting ceramic premium products such as spray or hybrid waxes would be requested to wait until towards the end of April and beginning of May so that the pollen is not trapped underneath the surface.

This does not affect liquid spray products as much as it does hybrid spray products and paste.

Also a quick reminder that if you bring your vehicle through a touch car Wash you will void any warranty provided by the manufacturer of the products or by GCS which is usually 3 to 9 months on most premium wax services or ceramics.

This warranty is also provided as long as the owner of the vehicle is properly maintaining the finish by washing it at least every two weeks and immediately taking off bird droppings and other surface to paint environmental issues that could damage the surface or remove any protective waxes and sprays prematurely.

A friendly reminder that I have a medically necessary service dog that is with me pretty much 24 hours a day, if you have a service where you don't feel safe having my dog present then a customer would have to be with me 100% of the time during the service if it's in warmer or extremely cold weather or you have to at least be home in your house if it pertains to cleaning carpet just in case something was to happen.

Honestly it's a little rude to tell me not to bring my service dog, it would be the same as telling a person in a wheelchair not to bring their wheelchair.

If you have any questions you can message me I would be glad to send my prescription and medical necessity and all of her papers to you as well as the list of health issues that I have that you can't see that are called invisible illnesses which is why I have my service dog.

A friendly reminder

We are entering pollen season, therefore if you are requesting a service that requires a one-year ceramic or any kind of clay bar or prep work it would be advised to wait for that service to take place in the month of May after the pollen is over or the pollen could be trapped underneath the surface and it's not easy to remove after it's dried under the surface of protective products.

We use premium ceramic spray wax, however if you use a touch car wash on a weekly basis you will take off any protection applied during your exterior detail service.

These products are designed to last from 3 to 6 months, and in some cases a year or more.

However with the excessive usage of a touch car Wash where it's whipping against your car, it will eventually remove the finish as well as scratch and swirl your vehicle.

There is no warranty on any vehicle exterior treatment that has been washed with any automatic touch car Wash.

It doesn't matter if it says touch free or not, if you wash your vehicle through a touch car Wash versus cleaning it at home the warranty for any exterior treatments is automatically void.
