Professional Cleaning Technician

Part time Hours
Schedule: Weekdays | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

🧹Execute residential and commercial cleaning services with precision and consistency
🧹Deliver high-quality results aligned with company standards and client expectations
🧹Maintain a strong attention to detail across all areas (surfaces, baseboards, fixtures, etc.)
🧹Work collaboratively with team members while maintaining efficiency and professionalism
🧹Properly handle cleaning products, equipment, and supplies

🧹Must have reliable transportation (non-negotiable for client site travel)
🧹Must have prior cleaning experience (residential and/or commercial preferred)
🧹Must possess a strong eye for detail—we notice what others miss, and so should you
🧹Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and accountability
🧹Ability to work within scheduled daytime hours (8 AM – 6 PM, weekdays)

Cleaning Isn’t A Race!! 💪🏾

One of my biggest pet peeves as a cleaner is when I hear another cleaner say a client was upset because “the bathroom took too long”even though the results were beautiful.

Here’s the thing: cleaning isn’t a race.

A heavily used bathroom with soap scum, hard water buildup, dust, grime, hair, and years of neglect is going to take longer than a bathroom that’s been maintained regularly. The time it takes has nothing to do with how hard someone is working and everything to do with the condition of the space.

This is also one of the biggest reasons I don’t charge hourly.

If I charged hourly, clients could end up focusing on the clock instead of the results. I charge based on the scope of work because every home is different. Two bathrooms can be the same size and take completely different amounts of time depending on the buildup, details requested, and overall condition.

I’d rather focus on delivering quality work than rushing through a job just to make the timer look better.

Organizing tip: create a “daily landing zone” and stop letting your whole house become one.

Every home needs one place for the things that come in and out every day: keys, bags, mail, sunglasses, chargers, wallets, school items, and the random objects that somehow travel from the car to the kitchen.

Pick one spot near the door or in the kitchen. Add a basket, tray, hooks, or small bins. Then commit to keeping those everyday items there instead of letting them scatter across counters, tables, chairs, and floors.

The goal is not perfection.

The goal is fewer frantic searches for keys while everyone is already late.

A simple system can save your sanity.

Living room cleaning tip: do not just straighten the pillows and call it done.

Your living room collects more than you think. Dust, pet hair, crumbs, shoes, blankets, mail, toys, remotes, chargers, and that one cup nobody is claiming.

Start by removing anything that does not belong. Then dust from top to bottom, wipe down tables and remotes, vacuum under cushions, and move small furniture so you can get the crumbs and dust hiding underneath.
