☀️ Halfway Through Summer on Topsail Island! 🏖️
We’re officially halfway through the busy summer season, and this weekend was our busiest and craziest so far. Here’s the weekend by the numbers:
🛏️ 154 bedrooms cleaned
🛌 246 beds made (if you noticed the discrepancy between bedrooms and beds, the answer to that math problem is BUNK BEDS 🥵)
🚿 138 bathrooms scrubbed from top to bottom
But the numbers only tell half the story…
🤦♀️ We cleaned an actual pile of human p**p out of a shower.
😳 We replaced a mattress after a guest managed to p*e completely through it.
🏖️ We responded to a callback where someone had dumped beach sand across the floor… apparently in an attempt to claim the house wasn’t clean.
☕ We tracked down and located a forgotten milk frother for a guest… even after they’d left us a one-star review. (We did draw the line at making a 90-minute round trip to deliver it.)
And somehow, after all of that, we still plan on showing up next weekend.
A huge thank you to our incredible team. They work through the summer heat, solve problems that nobody sees, and handle everything from the ordinary to the absolutely unbelievable. I’m not sure what I would do without my phenomenal employees and my other service professional buddies who make it all possible.

(And if you’re staying in a vacation rental this summer… maybe don’t p*e on the mattress. It would be super helpful 😅)
