PSA: A little reminder that I’m human, too. ❤️

The majority of the time, Upscrub LLC is a one-woman show. Occasionally, I’m able to contract out help, but that isn’t always possible. I take a lot of pride in making sure the people who enter your homes are trustworthy, honest, and people I feel comfortable putting my name behind. Your home and your trust mean a lot to me.

Recently, I’ve been experiencing some serious back problems, and I haven’t been taking them as seriously as I should. Today, my body made me pay for it. I was cleaning as I normally do, and one squat to get down and clean was all it took to leave me with what I believe is a disc injury. Unfortunately, I had to leave a client’s home unfinished, and I feel absolutely terrible about that.

I understand that you depend on me to get your homes cleaned, and I never take that responsibility lightly. I know how frustrating last-minute cancellations, rescheduling, or an unfinished clean can be. But sometimes, things happen that are simply beyond my control.

Those of you who have been with me for a long time know my babies, know my story, and know how much I pour into this business. You know that I will always do my best to show you grace when life happens, whether that means a cancellation, a reschedule, or working through an unexpected situation. I will always try to treat my clients with the same understanding and compassion I would hope to receive myself.

All I ask is for that same grace in return. ❤️

I’m one person trying to run a business, be a mom, take care of my family, and keep showing up for the people who trust me with their homes. I love what I do, and I never want anyone to feel like I don’t care about their home or their time. I do, more than you know.

But I also have to remember that I can only do so much, and sometimes I have to listen to my body, even when it means letting someone down.

Thank you to every single client who has supported me, trusted me, referred me, and shown me kindness along the way. Upscrub LLC would not be what it is without you. 🫶🏼

Hey! It’s Alexis with UPSCRUB LLC. I’d love to reintroduce myself and share a little about why I love what I do! 🩷

I started this back in 2022 and it all started as a laundry business (which we still offer these services) all the way to now cleaning home, offices and even warehouses. Being a mom, I knew I wanted to do something that would give me time with my babies, not take away from them.

I’ve tried returning full force to the 9-5, but I know where my heart stays and that’s here. Cleaning. Helping those who need the help get their homes refreshed. Weather that be from a get together, health issues or even just a “I deserve it” kind of clean. I’m here, my team is here.

I’m grateful to see my business 4 years later be successful and in doing so helping others. So thank you for all those who recommend me to their friends and family- because without you there wouldn’t be UPSCRUB LLC 🥰
