Popular spring cleaning projects include deck cleaning, concrete cleaning, and paver cleaning to include sanding and sealing. Please remember that a quick "estimate" via phone or email is just that, an estimate. It is also just an estimate for the job requested. It will not include unseen issues such as repairs that may be necessary, excess staining, severe moss, mold and / or algae growth that may take extra or special cleaning to remove, etc. This would be discussed during an "in person" visit with your contractor (preferably us!). Also, not yet but may be coming soon, tax (ewww). Thanks a bunch Springfield!!!
What your estimate does cover:
Costs for materials / equipment delivery to and service provider transportation to and from the job site.
Costs to prepare the worksite for cleaning, including costs to protect existing structure(s), finishes, materials and components.
Labor setup time and clean up
When you do meet with your contractor, remember they're getting their initial measurements for your project via GIS (Global Imaging) and will not be exact due to obstacles. Your contractor should come and take proper measurements as well as discuss any further issues found, (staining, damage, etc.) and take photos of the project. At that time discuss sand colors, stain colors, etc. as well as give you proper expectations and give you a final quote.
Lastly, make sure that your contractor also has insurance and is a licensed business in the state in which you live.
