EJ's Romneys Mother and daughter trio. Registered Romney and Merino Wool. Based in Northern California. EJ’s Romneys is a small sheep operation ran by a local teen.

I produce products from my small flock of Romneys such as raw fleeces, natural and hand dyed yarns, and whimsical products made out of the fiber. If you are interested in raw fleeces please contact me and I can send you samples of what I have available!

History lesson! The American Romney originates from the area of Kent in England. This area was marshy which led to the breed name Romney Marsh.

Due to the conditions Romneys were raised in, they have developed some breed characteristics such as resistance to foot rot and fleeces that can withstand harsher weather than others.

Inspired by Johana’s presentation for 4-H today! This is it, the solution to all of our laundry problems. And here is why we choose to provide them on our shop:

- Uses “broken” fleeces that cannot be used for yarn. (The picture shows the core of the dryer balls) so reduced our waste.
-ZERO TOXINS! No detergents or chemicals. Need I say more? Okay if you insist!
-Reduces static.
-Reduces drying time.
-Use essential oils to make your laundry smell however you want to. 2-4 drops depending on personal preference and your laundry will smell heavenly!
