Did you know the Recycling Center will take electronics? Almost all things with a cord will be accepted. There are a few things such as large kitchen appliances (stove, fridge, dishwasher) and larger household appliances such as a washer or dryer. If you have something you need recycled and are unsure, just give them a call at (662) 455-7625!

Did you know that City pays $32 a ton to bury garbage at the landfill. Most of that can be recycled and sold for $80 to $1,500 per ton!

Good morning. Businesses, please do not continue to put cardboard into your recycling bins during this time. The safest measure is to place it in your containers that go to the landfill.

Please empty ALL of your recycle bins now and do not place anything in them until we are over this crisis and recycling is resumed.

Please understand. The reason for not continuing to use the bins during this time is because of the possible contaminated items you are placing in them.

PLEASE CLEAN OUT ALL CARDBOARD FROM YOUR RECYCLING CONTAINERS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

All cardboard has to be placed in the garbage bins and picked up to be sent to the landfill.
At this time, this is the safest alternative for all persons involved.

I will be contacting businesses that have trash,cardboard etc. in their bins for them to have it properly disposed of.

Thank you and continue to be safe.

We will resume the recycling program as soon as deemed safe.
