Make plasticulture field cleanup more efficient. Our partner company, Reddick Equipment, builds equipment designed for the demands of specialty crop production.

The RMC-105 Mulch Lifter helps lift plastic mulch one row at a time with minimal adjustments. Its cutting coulter, lifting fingers, adjustable design, and wear-resistant components help growers prepare plastic for removal while reducing unnecessary tearing.

Have Five Minutes? Take a Closer Look at Your Soil.

What makes soil healthy? How do soil structure, organic matter, nutrients, and biology work together to influence the growing environment?

Episode 1 of the TriCal Group Soil Health Video Series takes a practical look below the surface. Learn how sand, silt, clay, organic matter, bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and nematodes each play a role in soil performance and field management decisions.

TriEst Ag Group is part of the TriCal Group family of companies and works with growers to better understand field conditions and identify management approaches that fit their crops and production goals.

Protect irrigation performance with proper filtration. Sand, sediment, algae, and organic matter can clog emitters and nozzles, reduce irrigation uniformity, and increase maintenance.

Proper filtration helps growers:
✔️Reduce clogging and downtime | ✔️Improve water and nutrient distribution | ✔️Protect irrigation components
✔️ Limit flushing and repairs

The right system depends on your water source, crop, and irrigation setup. TriEst Ag Group helps growers select and design filtration solutions for their operations.

Soil Health Is a System. Healthy soil is shaped by the way its physical, chemical, and biological components work together. Soil structure influences water and air movement, organic matter supports biological activity, and balanced nutrition helps crops access what they need throughout the season.

Because every field is different, improving soil health often requires more than one approach. TriEst Ag Group helps growers evaluate options such as pre-plant soil fumigation, irrigation and filtration, plant nutrition, and grafted plants as parts of a broader field management plan.

Understanding what is happening below the surface can help guide better decisions before planting and throughout the growing season.

Every apple harvest begins below the surface.

Healthy orchard soils support root development, water and nutrient movement, and strong tree establishment throughout the life of an orchard. For apple growers, understanding soil conditions and planning before planting or replanting can help create a stronger foundation for the seasons ahead.

On National Apple Day, October 21, TriEst Ag Group recognizes the growers whose knowledge, care, and hard work bring apples from the orchard to our tables.

Thank you to the NC Sweetpotatoes and NC State Extension for hosting another great annual Sweetpotato Field Day event.

Most importantly, thank you to the growers and industry professionals who took the time to attend, ask questions, share experiences, and learn from one another. Your dedication, knowledge, and willingness to work together help make North Carolina’s sweetpotato industry strong.

TriEst Ag Group was proud to be part of the program, with Director of Agronomy Josh Mays speaking about soil fumigation applications in sweetpotato production, their benefits, and their role in managing guava root-knot nematode pressure.
