✨ Winston-Salem Attic Renovation ✨
This project was completed for one of our long-time clients — someone who gave us one of our very first opportunities to learn and grow. We’re grateful to continue taking care of her and delivering quality work she can trust. 🤝
🚪 Starting at the landing
We installed a three-way lighting system that illuminates the landing and stairway leading up to the attic — designed for safety, convenience, and ease of use from both levels.
🎨 Finishing details matter
Custom crown molding wraps around the landing, giving the space a clean, polished, and finished look.
💡 Smart controls upstairs
A second three-way switch system allows all three ceiling fans to turn on together, while a separate switch controls the stairway lighting.
Each fan also has its own individual controller for personalized comfort.
🛑 Safety first
A hard-wired smoke detector was added to meet proper living standards and ensure peace of mind.
🌀 Built for the space
We used 18-inch downrods to keep fan blades safely clear of the angled ceiling.
🛡️ Staircase safety upgrade
A clean, modern vinyl safety railing was installed — an affordable solution designed to prevent falls without sacrificing style.
❄️🔥 Year-round comfort
This attic now has full climate control with a mini-split system, including condenser installation and proper electrical connections.
We also maintained two access doors for future servicing through the bathroom and shower area.
🎨 Cohesive interior design
Flat white ceilings, durable gray walls, and gray oak LVP flooring run throughout the space for a seamless, modern finish.

✔️ Affordable angled walk-in shower with sliding glass door
✔️ Satin nickel finishes throughout
✔️ Added personal bathroom heater
✨ To finish it off, we wrapped the walk-in shower base with trim for a clean, professional final touch.
