Sometimes you just gotta take the shot.

This morning I had already knocked out a job when I got a message from a guy named Brandon Scott. He asked if I could clean a motorcycle today and I’d never done one before. I told him that, but something in me said go for it anyway.

After lunch, I drove out to Mercersburg not even knowing if I was in the right place. But as soon as I pulled up, Brandon met me, got me set up, and said, “Do your thing.”

As I worked, we started chatting about bikes and cars and then the conversation turned to business. Brandon owns two companies. He told me how he grew up with nothing and built something real out of it. He even let me interview him, ask questions, and soak up some wisdom on how to chase success and build your own path.

Crazy how you never know what doors can open just from saying yes, even when you’re unsure. That one small job turned into a meaningful connection and a reminder that opportunities are everywhere you just gotta be willing to show up.
