The focus is on building practical cooking skills, exploring how food truly is medicine, and discussing the role nutrition plays in preventing and managing chronic disease. A meal is included (participants will be making a vegetable curry and a vegetable stir fry) as well as supporting materials to take home with them. πŸ…πŸŒΆπŸœ

In-Person Absentee Voting has officially begun in the City of Green Bay for the August 11 Partisan Primary Election.

If you prefer to vote early in person rather than at the polls on Election Day, you can cast your ballot at City Hall.

Important reminders before you go:
- Bring an acceptable Photo ID.
- If you are not currently registered or need to update your address, you can register in person with a valid proof of residence.
- In a partisan primary, you must vote within only one political party's section for your ballot to count.

Visit myvote.wi.gov to check your registration status and view sample ballot.

Need help but don't know where to start? Each week, a different community resource/social service agency will be on-site to provide information about their programs and services. Stop in each week to get connected and find the support you need!

Our August 2026 Schedule is:
β€’ Tuesday, August 4 will feature representatives from Golden House and Green Bay Conservation Corps.
β€’ Tuesday, August 11 will feature representatives from Forward Service Corporation and Children’s Resource Center-Northeast.
β€’ Tuesday, August 18 will feature representatives from The Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay and Aging & Disability Resource Center of Brown County WI
β€’ Tuesday, August 25 will feature representatives from House of Hope Green Bay and Brown County Housing Authority

NO COST meals for kids! + New locations

As summer school comes to an end, GBAPS Food Service would like to announce the opening of three new free lunch in the park spots! In addition to our regular free lunch in parks, libraries, and local community hot spots, we will serve free lunch at Edison Park, Eisenhower Park, and Webster Park beginning August 3rd!

Kids 18 years and younger can eat for FREE! Adults are welcome to participate with $5.75 cash payment.
