Wisconsin is made for lakes, trails, and wagging tails!
If the water looks like spilled green paint or pea soup, keep your four-legged adventure buddy out of the water. Pets can become very sick from blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) by drinking the water or even licking it off their fur.
Remember, “Don’t get sick, avoid the ick!” When in doubt, stay out!

Thank you everyone who joined us for a field day to learn about strip-till!

Strip-till involves tilling narrow strips where seeds will be planted, combining some of the benefits of conventional tilling with the erosion-control advantages of no-till. One of many conservation practices that can help protect our waterways.
