If the water looks like spilled green paint or pea soup, keep your four-legged adventure buddy out of the water. Pets can become very sick from blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) by drinking the water or even licking it off their fur.
Remember, “Don’t get sick, avoid the ick!” When in doubt, stay out!

Do not climb, sit, or stand on the pipes. These pipes are part of the Downtown Interceptors Renewal Project, which is needed to renew sanitary sewers that have been in operation since the 1930s.
