Montana Rural Water System is excited to share information about the Montana Rural Water Apprenticeship Program — a two-year, hands-on training opportunity for anyone interested in starting a career in the water and wastewater industry.
The program includes 4,000 hours of On-the-Job Training (OJT) and 288 hours of Related Technical Instruction (RTI). Apprentices must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check.
They also offer stipend incentives:
• $5,000 to apprentices after completing 1,000 hours of OJT and 70 hours of RTI
• $2,500 to mentors who support apprentices through the program
This is a great opportunity to build skills, earn while you learn, and grow a long-term career in the water profession.
Please feel free to share this with anyone who may be interested, and don’t hesitate to reach out with questions.
Thank you,
Cody Marez
