A little rain can’t stop this belly from all the deliciousness that Grayson has to offer this weekend and so far everything has been a homerun. The steak bites and Mac-n-cheese from the Gregoryville Christian Church tent was absolutely mouth watering and a huge serving size. If you like farm fresh you won’t want to miss the double cheeseburger from B & T’s. Big Boy’s Pizza is so delicious we didn’t even have a chance to get a picture of it. The countdown is on for this evening when we make our yearly trip to the East Carter Football tent for the best ribeye and pork sandwiches around. And we’re just getting started. The goal, as always, is to eat something from every vendor and sample as many lemonades and old fashioned sodas as possible. And don’t forget about all the sweet treats. So happy that the mini donuts are back and funnel cakes watch out. My shirt can’t wait to be covered in some powdered sugar.
Get out and eat. What else is there to do when it’s rainy. I promise you won’t melt. Well, Robin Rice may melt. She’s pretty sweet. Mom we’ll just bring you food.

The music will be inside this evening at the First Church of Christ.

Change of venue for tonight’s concert. Due to the rain and cold temperatures we have moved the concert inside to the first church of Christ on Pomeroy street.

Opening ceremonies at 5 PM music starts at 5:30. You do not need to bring a chair as we are inside the sanctuary no food or drinker allowed inside.

Make sure and register.

We are excited to announce some upcoming changes to the Summer Nutrition Program for Kids!

Participating families will pick up 7 days worth of breakfasts and lunches each Thursday from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM from June 8 through July 30. Pick up locations will be Prichard Elementary School and West Carter High School.

IMPORTANT - Registration, for each child, is required for participation.
