A LOT went into this GMC Canyon. The interior got stripped down to the metal floor, then i started cleaning. Carpet replaced with vinyl for that new feel. Seats, plastics, headliner, and dash deep cleaned. After putting it back together, I sourced a cup holder to replace the missing one, and a new hazzard button that wasn't blinding(black translucent cover missing).
After the inside was done I move onto the exterior. Started with removing the headlights and grill to install new light housings. While i was there i replaced and repaired some harnesses that got chewed up. Then the engine bay and bed got cleaned up, moved onto the wheels and body. Lots of organic growth on this one. Moved onto a 1 step polish to knock off a few years.
Finally to inspect the non functional brake lights and turn signals. Found brake switch went bad. Replaced it plus 2 bulbs, and brake lights are great. All 4 turn signals bulb were burnt out. Now all exterior lighting is fully functional and we've got a much nicer, safer truck!!
