This November, the Navo family and their family of Companies—Navo & Sons, Roto‑Rooter Plumbers, and All-Sierra Septic —are rallying Nevada and Placer County to help our neighbors.

Give where your heart is: support your favorite local charity. Because remember these charities need our support. They need items like non‑perishable food, diapers, and numerous toiletry items like: wipes, feminine care, toothpaste and toothbrushes, soap and shampoo, deodorant, toilet paper, along with paper towels, laundry and dish soap, and unopened pet food.

Don't have a favorite charity, you can drop any the these items at to our office at 815 Idaho‑Maryland Road, Grass Valley, or conveniently hand them to our staff in the field.

We’ll thank you with a $10 coupon for future service. And for every coupon we issue, we will put our money to work and donate $5 to local County charities, up to $2,500.

Septic or plumbing problem? We’ve got it. Community need? We show up. Navo & Sons/Roto-Rooter Plumbers. Keeping Nevada County Strong—neighbors helping neighbors.

What a Kind Review!
I was able to host my 35 family members for Thanksgiving, including my 93 yo mother, because you all managed to get my septic system up and running!!
Everything was just perfect!! The big turkey fit and all the tables and I could wash all the dishes afterwards!!! (Well, still doing those)
And launder all the linens! (Also still folding those!!)

We rotate and so it won’t be my turn again for 7 years, and I had it last time in 2016. My mom lives in Auburn and doesn’t make it up the hill very much anymore. She just glowed in the gathering of all of us!

Please share this with Wade for making it possible, and his great hardworking crew, and to Chris for explaining it all so kindly to me as I panicked back in August with the tank lids overflowing! And to all the patient office staff taking my calls as I kept asking what to expect.
It was such a huge ordeal for me to deal with no septic and for you all that do this every day, bless you!!! You are rock stars!!
🙏🏽

It is always great to get a positive reveiw but then sometimes there are those reviews that light up our staff!

"This co pumped our septic & replaced 2 lids on it,
They were worn & didn’t fit anymore. I wasn’t at the house at the time but they called me to let me know what was happening & sent pictures so I could see for myself. They were very professional & diligent
In doing there job & staying in contact with me about what was going on & called me & sent pictures so I
Could see for myself. Job was done in a timely manner.
They get 5 stars from me!
Thank you
Janet S.
I felt they were also very fair in their pricing.

A couple of yrs ago , I called out another co @ they really overcharged me !! They wanted over $2000
For 2 new lids plus pumping, I paid over $800 for pumping alone. Also said I had a crack in lids, no cracks were found by Navo & sons

7 Thanksgiving Plumbing Tips!
1. Make Sure Your Home Is Ready
Unless a plumbing issue is urgent, homeowners tend to put off calling a professional. It’s easy to forget about these issues until busy weekends like Thanksgiving, where they can develop into something serious and ruin a family gathering.

2. Reduce Kitchen Traffic
Believe it or not, many of the calls that occur on or just after Thanksgiving have to do with foreign objects getting stuck in drains. Jewelry. Watches. Toys. Silverware. Broken glass. The list goes on.
One way to avoid these types of issues to reduce traffic in your kitchen. It’s normal for friends and family to want to help out in the kitchen or gather for conversations or drinks, but encouraging guests to use other spaces for socializing can help reduce distractions and accidents.

3. Properly Dispose of Grease
Cooking results in grease and grease can spell trouble for your plumbing. While it’s hot, grease seem like just another harmless liquid to pour down the drain. But as grease cools, it congeals (becomes solid) and can cause blockages in your pipes.
So make sure you dispose of grease the proper way following your Thanksgiving cooking: pour it it into an extra mason jar or a plastic bag and toss it in the garbage when you’re done.

4. Don’t Treat Your Garbage Disposal like a Garbage Bag
Preparing a large meal means juggling a bunch of different responsibilities in the kitchen and that often means we look for places to cut corners. Too often, that means using our garbage disposal as a catch-all for food waste.
Yet there are a number of food products that can cause plumbing issues:
• Celery (and other fibrous foods)
• Potato peels
• Eggshells
• Bones
• Coffee grounds
• Pasta or noodles
• Fruit pits

5. Wait to Use Your Dishwasher
Your dishwasher and garbage disposal share the same drain, so it’s important to keep this in mind before running a your next load of Thanksgiving dishes and silverware. Running your garbage disposal while your dishwasher is running can mean food waste can end up in your wash cycle.
It’s also important to realize that if you are experiencing a garbage disposal issue—like a blockage—it’s important not to run your dishwasher. Doing so can create flooding.

6. Keep Wet Wipes Out of the Toilet
If you provide wet wipes for your guests in the bathroom, make sure that they know that they should be thrown away—not flushed. Toilet paper is specifically designed to dissolve in water so that it is unlikely to cause a clog. Other items… are not.
A few other things that shouldn’t be flushed:
• Cotton balls
• Q-tips
• Napkins or facial tissue (Kleenex)
• Feminine products
• Paper towels
• Facial cleansing/makeup remover wipes

7. Cut Down on Shower Time
If you’re having guests stay over Thanksgiving weekend, try to be mindful who’s showering when and for how long. Few things tax water pressure and plumbing in your house, so if there are multiple showers occurring at once—or showers occurring while you’re trying to do other water-dependent tasks like dishwashing--it could mean a shortage of hot water.
