I want to be very clear about how my cleaning services are priced and what I offer.
I am not a $25-an-hour cleaner.
I am not retired.
I am not doing this as a hobby or for “extra cash.”
This is a legitimate business and my full-time livelihood.
I price by scope of work, not by the hour, because every home and business is different. My pricing reflects the size, condition, and level of detail required — along with professional supplies, insurance, taxes, tools, software, fuel, and the physical labor it takes to do the job right.
Just like everyone else, I have real-life expenses:
• a mortgage
• vehicle payments
• utilities
• insurance
• business overhead
• taxes
This isn’t optional — it’s reality.
For perspective: I recently had a service call to Roto-Rooter my pipes. They were here for about 20 minutes and the bill was $200. No one questions that because it’s understood they’re running a business.
Cleaning is hard, physical work and carries real costs. The number one reason cleaners burn out and quit the industry is because they undercharge, overwork themselves, and can’t sustain it long-term.
If you’re looking for the cheapest option, I may not be the right fit — and that’s okay.
If you’re looking for reliable, detailed, professional cleaning with clear expectations and communication, I’d love to talk and see if we’re a good fit.
Thank you for supporting small, local businesses that do things the right way.
