Did you know? Conserving water is one of the top concerns for eco-friendly households. One way to do this (without having to not flush at all, which is gross) is to put a brick or a jar full of water in the back of your toilet. Happy Thursday! Here's a little cleaning tip for you when doing laundry. And yes, it works!

Putting Aspirin In The Laundry Helps Remove Stains!
People have found that Aspirin helps remove clothing stains and can help brighten the appearance of clothes, bringing them back to their former glory. So if you have clothing that has seen brighter days, lighten them up using this trick! Put the laundry in the washing machine and throw in around five tablets of Aspirin along with it. Fill with hot water and set it to soak for 1-2 hours. Make sure all of the Aspirin tablets dissolve. Then, drain and run the laundry through a wash cycle as you normally would.

Great Day Cleaning Services is hiring part time for a residential/commercial cleaner. Pay is based on job, but will never be less that $15 an hour with some jobs paying $25. This position is anywhere between 10 and 12 hours a week at the moment, but could lead into more if you want. All work is in the Grand Rapids area.

We require someone who is willing to work alone or as part of a team, can work mostly early evenings with a rare occasion for a day shift, has their own reliable transportation, loves to clean, takes direction, and is willing to step up when needed.

What we expect from you?
You must be honest, have reliable transportation, love to clean, a flexible schedule, follow directions and ask questions if needed, as well as the willingness to pitch in—aka—be a self-starter. We need a team player as well as someone who can handle working on their own.
There will be some daytime hours as well as early evenings/weekends. Pay starts at $15 an hour, but there are some jobs that will pay more. Hours per week will range from 15 to 25. We will gladly work within your schedule as much as possible.

Did you know you can clean your stainless with cream of tartar?

It's true!

This is great for faucets and smaller stainless steel items. Mix some cream of tartar with a little bit of water. Great for those pesky little spots around your faucet that has build up. Use an old toothbrush and scrub that build up away.
