Happy February in the year 2024! Guess who's back! Well I never left. January was just like every other year. Dead! So I spent my winter in a tow truck and moving a few dumpsters around here and there!
Spring is getting closer so it is time for the WhiteCap War Machine to start waking up again!
I have alot of things I am excited about this year. Number one is we don't need to buy new trucks this year! We just have to finish building what we have!
My first area of focus will be getting our GMC 3500(non-HD) hooklift up to s***f with various bed systems to expand my physical abilities to assist you guys with any heavy lifting that is needed. I plan to get it into my garage when it warms up, Sand it down and repaint it. I am thinking about going some hand paint work on the truck. Will it look good? It's me, I'm a trash man... probably not but I'm going to try anyway!
My next area of focus will be to Finish the next step of this business. Last year I bought a 1999 chevy 3500HD not to be confused with a normal 3500. See I'm a fan boy of these Commercial grade trucks because they're not just a one ton truck (does anybody care?) Rather a class 4 truck rated for 15,000 gvw. The cool part about these trucks is their actual weight to gvw ratio. Trucks made today weight more right out of the box taking away from their carrying capacity. These older trucks weighed less starting out meaning that even though they carry the same 15,000gvw as a class 4 truck today, they weighed less so they had 8,000 to 9,000lbs of carrying capacity. All wrapped up into a system of engines and transmissions I love and trust. Not to mention they're good looking g trucks when they're cleaned up, which we will do, don't worry. Mechanicals, axillary systems, then paint and body work.
You didn't need to know all of that and probably didn't care but now you know!
But to the point this next truck will increase my carrying capacity as well as open up other avenues of services to provide. All in due time. I have to actually build it yet. I'm hoping to get it close to ready by end of summer but who knows how that plan will survive!
As for services, we're are providing dumpster rentals on 10 yard dumpsters, quick pickup junk removal (driveway, garage, or curbside), outdoor junk removal (debris located outdoors), yard waste removal, Mulch delivery, and hauling services.
For Demolition, Concrete tearout, yard waste cleanup & removal, as well as any other job that demands more time dedicated to it, I will be continuing service for that in the spring when I can count on 50 degree weather! (I'm a little bit of a baby in the cold 🥶)
I hope everybody has a wonderful 2024!
I hope everybody finds what they want out of life this year. I hope we have plenty of laughs, family moments, cuddles with our animals, memories with our children and parents/ grandparents. I hope that anybody out there with a dream and the tenacity to chase their dream, I hope they catch it.
Let's go out and make the best out of 2024!
