I'm a little late for the New Year post... I apologize.

This last year had been a whirlwind. Starting 2025 with so much uncertainty, after a devastating loss.
Were we making the correct decision in building this laundromat? Would it succeed?

Yes. It was the correct decision. Because of all YOU! Our amazing customers... we are THRIVING!

Why is Lucky Duck Laundry better?

Years of using Laundromats while my husband and I were both part of the horse racing circut here in Nebraska (him a jockey agent and me a trainer)
led me to one conclusion... Laundromats suck. Sorry to be so blunt, but they do!
They are hot and dirty, and I always felt icky when we left.

When our buildings burnt down almost a year ago, Chad and I talked at length about what to rebuild, what would benefit the community that had shown the auction and my bakery so much love over the years.

We decided on a laundromat ( obviously!). We wanted to be different. We wanted a place that was not only clean, family friendly, safe... and most of all, a place you didn't dread coming to every week.

We put in a lot of thought and research into the Lucky Duck.
Great, top of the line machines! With language options! (Seriously the best!). Good snacks! Good beverage selection. Great music!
Wash and fold service!!!!! And we don't skimp on the soap either! I wash your laundry the same as I wash mine from home! No, off brand detergents!

When you visit Lucky Duck... you get us... a family. Chad, Jaime, Blake, Halle, and Logan. Not an employee making minimum wage who doesn't care. You get the Olsons... who live and breathe this place! The ones who will drive across town when your chex mix gets stuck in the vending machine, who will come and save you at 11pm after the doors lock and your laundry is still inside. Who makes sure each and every day that everything is clean, well stocked, and everything is working properly.
Thank you all for supporting us on this new adventure and literally being the best customers ever!
