Outdoor burning is now permitted in Graham Fire & Rescue’s district. 🔥

What does this mean? If you live south of the no-burn line, you may apply for a burn permit and conduct outdoor residential burning (i.e., burning yard debris) once your permit is approved. You can find out if you live in an area where outdoor burning is allowed by visiting our website: www.grahamfire.org/district-map/

Please keep the following tips in mind when conducting outdoor burning:

🚨 Check local regulations and obtain a burn permit. Never burn when there is a fire safety or air quality burn ban.
🚨 Don’t burn when it’s windy or when vegetation is dry.
🚨 Make sure your burn pile does not exceed four feet in diameter.
🚨 Make sure your burn pile has 50 feet of clearance from all other combustibles.
🚨 Never leave the fire unattended. Residents are responsible for directly attending the burn pile and ensuring that it does not grow out of control.
