🚨 Ceramic coatings for $350? Let’s talk facts.
I’m not here to call anyone out — just to give real education for anyone who wants to actually protect their vehicle the right way.
A proper ceramic coating is not a quick or cheap service.
Not because detailers want to charge more…
But because doing it correctly costs more.
A real ceramic coating service includes:
• High-quality, professional-grade coatings
• Correct surface preparation
• Iron removal, clay treatment, polishing, compounding
• Machine pads, compounds, and panel wipe solutions
• UV-stable coating formulas backed by real manufacturers
• Hours of paint correction (every car is different)
Just the materials alone to coat a vehicle the right way cost anywhere from $150–$600+ — before labor, skill, overhead, insurance, equipment, or time ever come into play.
So when you see a “full ceramic coating” for $350, especially on a larger or performance vehicle… you have to ask:
👉 What product is actually being used?
👉 What steps are being skipped?
👉 Is it even a true ceramic coating?
Ceramic coatings are designed to protect your paint for years — not a couple months.
If the price sounds too good to be true, it almost always is.
At Settle Autoworks, I focus on proper prep, premium products, and a process that protects your investment the right way.
If you ever have questions, want to understand the difference, or are considering a coating — I’m happy to walk you through everything.
Your car deserves the right hands. 🙏
