I knew this was a bigger one, just not this big. Had to open a second section to get all the honey. Gave the owner about 30lb of honey/wax and still filled three 5 gallon buckets(well 2, dumped one into a trash bag, then refilled it). Didn’t find any brood or even eggs.

Soffit removal. Owner didn’t know the hive was there. The neighbor got stung and informed the owner. This hive had been there a couple years. Didn’t find the queen at the removal but when I dropped the bees off at the yard I found her.

My open air hive from the other day from Elgin Nursery. Took 3 days to finish. First day I found out my biggest ladder was too short. 2nd day I got most of the hive but got too dark to finish so I went back for a couple hours to get the rest of the bees and the small amount of comb I couldn’t really see.

It took me three days to get this one done. First day was finding out my ladders where to short by about a foot to the branch I needed to rest on. The second day was getting most of the comb and bees,

This was a 1 foot square hive. Got a honey shower since it was so runny.
