If you're anything like me, you probably get frustrated when you call a business and are greeted by an automated system or AI instead of a real person. It can feel impersonal and exhausting having to navigate menus, press buttons, and jump through hoops just to ask a simple question.

At TC Mobile Detailing, we've always believed that great customer service starts with real human interaction. When you call us, you're talking to the owner—not a call center, not a chatbot, and not an automated system.

Unfortunately, the business landscape is changing. More and more customers expect an immediate response, and if a call isn't answered instantly, many simply move on to the next company without leaving a voicemail, sending a text, or waiting for a callback.

To keep up with those expectations, many small businesses are being pushed toward AI answering services and automated receptionists. We're doing our best to hold onto that personal touch, but we need a little help from our customers.

If you call and we don't answer right away, please leave a voicemail or send a quick text. Chances are we're with another customer, driving between appointments, or working on a vehicle. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

A little patience helps small businesses like ours continue providing the personal service that so many people say they value. Together, we can keep the human side of customer service alive.

One thing I've noticed over the years is that the bigger a company gets, the easier it becomes for customers to feel like just another number.
When the people making the decisions never actually meet the customers, never hear their frustrations face-to-face, and never see the disappointment on someone's face, empathy starts to disappear. Customer service becomes a script. Complaints become tickets. People become numbers on a spreadsheet.
There's something powerful about a business owner personally hearing a customer's concern. When you're sitting across from someone who trusted you with their hard-earned money, you care. You listen. You take responsibility. And most importantly—you fix it.
Too many large companies have become focused solely on profits, quarterly reports, and shareholders. The customer often feels like an afterthought.
That's one reason I love being a small business owner.
At TC Mobile Detailing & Power Washing, every customer matters to me personally. When you call, text, or message, you're talking directly to someone who genuinely cares about your experience. Your satisfaction isn't just a statistic—it's my reputation, my livelihood, and something I take pride in every single day.
Yes, I need to make money to keep my business running. But if money was the only thing that mattered, I wouldn't have built my business around relationships, quality, and attention to detail.
Small businesses succeed because we care about people first. We want our customers to be happy, satisfied, and excited to recommend us to their friends and family. That's something no corporate customer service department can replace.

When you hire a small business, you're not just paying for a service—you're trusting a real person who takes pride in every job.
As the owner, I'm involved in every step of the detailing process. I don't hand your vehicle off to a revolving team or treat it like just another appointment on the schedule. Every car that leaves my care represents my name and my reputation.
I'm extremely detail-oriented, and I genuinely notice the little things that many people overlook. Whether it's making sure vents are spotless, checking for missed spots, or giving extra attention to areas that need it most, I believe those small details are what separate a good detail from an exceptional one.
For me, this isn't about rushing through as many jobs as possible. It's about delivering results I'm proud to stand behind and treating every customer's vehicle with the same level of care I'd want for my own.
