We wanted to provide everyone with an update on our new touch-free automatic wash installation.

The new automatic wash equipment is scheduled to begin installation on July 27th, with our anticipated opening date set for Saturday, August 15th.

While this timeline is a little later than we had originally hoped, we're excited that the finish line is finally in sight. We know many of our customers have been eagerly waiting for a touch-free automatic wash option to return, and trust us—we're just as anxious to get it up and running!

This upgrade will allow us to provide a faster, more convenient, and completely touch-free wash experience while maintaining the quality clean you expect.

Thank you for your patience and continued support during this process. We'll continue to share updates as installation progresses and look forward to welcoming you back to our new touch-free wash very soon!

We wanted to share an update on our automatic wash. About 170 washes after installing a new communication cable, the system unexpectedly shut down again on Thursday. Since we’re still unsure whether the issue is coming from the AC drive or the PLC (computer), we’ve made the decision to keep the automatic wash closed until our new unit arrives this summer.

We’re currently waiting on a confirmed delivery date so we can share an installation schedule and reopening timeline. Thank you for your patience — we can’t wait to bring you a smoother, fully touch‑free experience with the new equipment.

We had to shut down both of the vacuums on the right side of the wash Monday for safety reasons. Never did we imagine someone would run a couch thru the car wash and then try to suck out the water using the vacuums. The vacuums are not designed for liquids with warning labels on the control panel . There is a high risk of electric shock if trying to do this. For safety we locked out power to the vacuums until we can tear them apart to see how much damage was done. Sorry for the inconvenience!

3/20 The automatic is back in service again. Thanks to Steve at Car Wash Medic for the quick response and repair!

The automatic had a breakdown on Saturday and we have been unable to resolve the matter. We have a tech coming in Friday morning to have a look so we hope to have the auto back open soon.

We wanted to wait until the official order was in but now seems to be a good time to announce that the Magic Spray automatic will be retired this year after 26 years in operation. We are finalizing a quote on a new WashWorld Double Barrel that we hoped to have installed by early summer. The new wash will take our wash to a new level in the quality of the wash, better reliability, color changing LED lighting, wider range of chemical options, no more floor rails, ability to accept dually crew cab pickups, automatic doors so we can remain open even in sub freezing temperatures, and a new external drying system with side mounted air knives.

We know that the complete tear out of the old and installation of the new will take 3 weeks once it begins. We may also have to close the entire wash for a couple of days when we tie in the new plumbing and electrical to the system.

The work timeline will be posted here once we get closer to the install. We look forward to serving you better and are very excited about the new offering.

It looks like the automatic wash detected a sensor error and shut down sometime Sunday afternoon. One customer was able to try and purchase a wash at 4:03pm before the pay station shut down and showed it was out of service. We will issue a full refund to the customers card once it is possible to do so and it will take a couple more days for the credit to show against your card. Customer satisfaction is important to us so please reach out if you have any issues so we may resolve the issue if possible. Thanks for using Eagle Car Wash!
