Costco, I love ya… BUT WHY??

Clearly whoever made this decision does *not* have limited counter space in their home, nor is a camper with an RV... Just sayin'!

Anyone else find this goofy? 😝

I absolutely LOVE this post. And can empathize so much with the author’s words; feeling like I could have written them myself. ✍🏼

I too thought having “grown up” decor meant a bland color palette, until recently. I LOVE color. It energizes me and brings me joy. I really enjoy the tasteful & thoughtful way this person re-decorated. It reminds me of some colors/styling in my own home. 🏡

Just got my guest room bed frame put together & hung the art. 🖼️ 💐

Previously, I painted the faux concrete wall + painted the bed headboard.

Next up: Hanging curtains, some touch up paint & a few small touches, then it’ll be ready to rent out! 👏🏼

POV: When the organization queen 👸🏻 needs organization too! Do you struggle with keeping (or even starting?!) to organize your home, only to feel like a failure because it’s taking you much longer than you expected? You’re not alone, my friend! Even me, who LOVES to organize, has this issue. My encouragement: Start small. Don’t stress about how the seemingly huge, monumental task will take. Start with ONE area (even if it’s a drawer or one section of a shelf!) and hit it hard. The euphoria & weight lifted off you will be so encouraging, you’ll be inspired to do more… and more. It may take days, weeks, or months. But don’t give up. Solicit help if you need to, or heck, even pay someone (*cough* I may know a gal 😉) to help you get started. Remember to give yourself grace & time! Take breaks. Jam to your fave music or put on a fave show for background entertainment. Have a snack & a fave beverage. Make it FUN! It doesn’t have to feel so daunting. Trust me. I am a maximalist who enjoys treasures. So I get the overwhelm. But, I believe in you… in US. We got this! 👏🏼 💪🏼☺️

Today I began organizing a client’s garage!

Thankfully, they have lots of space & some wonderful cabinetry which will help tremendously. 👏🏼

As a professional organizer, I aim to utilize existing storage & maximize efficiency, while also making suggestions for storage solutions that will help the process of organizing.
