We have been doing bird exclusion work for 20 plus years and after helping 20,000 plus jobs some times we come upon a sparrow project using 3/4" netting we did way back when during the winter when our pressure washers froze over nite if we left then outside, yep the good times us older people talk about when we were young and dumb.
This past week i had a chance to inspect this same job and was hoping to check out and see how the netting we installed over many months held up, much to my disappointment our much of our hard work had been destroyed when the net and materials were removed to repaint. The work was done to stop the hundreds of sparrows at that time that can get into a gap bigger than 3/4".
It appears that this company that installed the new netting needs to maybe do some additional training on how hard bird work can be and allow enough time to doing it right, please stop doing bird netting as it makes the rest of us look bad.

DIY bird control deterrents or done incorrectly bird control usually leads to failure or birds learning to not be afraid of the deterrent. Stop teaching your pest birds how to bypass what are usually effective deterrents. And what's even worst is jimmy rigging bird deterrents because its cheaper to start with.

This is what a big mess aquatic bird can do to your trees and grounds around a property.
Cormorants nest in large colonies in trees, rocks, and cliffs, as well as man-made structures. They commonly feed near commercial and recreational fishing areas. These birds can cause extensive damage to vegetation: Cormorants can strip leaves from trees and break branches.
More importantly, however, their excrement is acidic and changes soil chemistry, killing trees and shrubs, which could lead to increased erosion. For these reasons, cormorant control is essential to protect various habitats.
These birds are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918 and their nests cannot be disturbed once eggs are laid inside.

Why do i have pigeons and their p**p around my office buildings i often get asked ? Then i go out to look around and find this!
When you put out food and water for cats or other pest animals you get get birds looking for a free meal and what do they leave you for your so very kind troubles, P**P and what does P**P on the walkway do - creates slip and fall hazards and liabilities for the landlord.

The commercial crew at Southwest Avian Solutions got a quick re-net for St May Food bank distribution dock after they expanded the dock where we originally had netted years ago.

The Southwest Avian Solutions commercial crew is just finishing up on a 7 unit FlockOff navigation disrupter systems using magnetic attachments that covers 4 different buildings and has take about 10 days to complete to layout the hundreds or attachments and 1000's of feet of stainless steel wire.
